Delighted to announce that Martha Stewart Weddings is giving the nod of approval to a wonderful couple and most elegant of weddings. Christopher and Stephen – and their antiques and elegant touches. It was a pleasure to work with them to create this magical day. Congratulations.
A note below from a wedding photographer who just wants to be able to do their job and let the bride and groom have their day! (This seems a bit strict to your guests-but it will really enhance the total experience). I have had many couples very disappointed that the first reveal of their wedding day on social media was their cousin Jackie’s Facebook post during the wedding while they were saying their vows.
This adorable couple were more glowingly in love than just about any couple I have worked with. It takes a video to see their sincerity and true respect for one another. They were so aglow with love for their special day, they weren’t bothered by the rain or 37 degree October 3rd day. A true pleasure to be a part of, video by a former colleague from ABC Sports, Paul Frederickson.
On Valentine’s Day the day had finally arrived for Maya and Manny. A wonderful, spunky, fun, animated, spontaneous and loving couple that I have been working with for the better part of a year to make their Winter Wonderland wedding dreams come true. After considering several properties, they had chosen some “off the beaten path” options. A warm and cozy, lake-view, fireside ceremony at the “Lakehouse” – a new part of the High Peaks Resort. For the dinner and reception, the funky and casual barn-feeling post and beam second floor space of Smoke Signals for savory food, rustic decor and a fun get-down party atmosphere.
May 16 ended up being a perfect weather day for this spring Adirondack Farm Wedding. The rain held out, although it threatened all day. This wedding was a true community effort from the parents of the bride (hosted at their home) to the friends and family that helped with the set up. This wedding tells the story of the couple and is kept simple and with many DIY projects from arbor to ceremony seating to homemade snacks and iced teas.
