Juniper Events and Design can help you conceptualize the overall look of your event and work with you to come up with a design plan. This plan can include suggestions for lighting, floral, rentals and various personal touches that make your overall look and feel unique to you. A logo design for your event, birch-bark votive holders, a custom trellis, custom trail mix, your own personal mix CD, an event website, … all those little details you dreamed, imagined or “pinned” will come to life and be effortlessly executed.

Juniper Events & Design is the region’s premier destination wedding planning service. While we can customize each package to work for our individual clients, here are some packages to choose from:
full plan
For the destination wedding couple who is likely not in the area regularly and needs a partner and full support from the region’s most experienced event planner to make their planning process worry-free and stress-free.
Includes all services from both the Collaborative Plan and Month Of Plan with the additional peace of mind of unlimited support, direct contact and booking with all vendors and negotiation of contract and services and full support in logistics and design services.

For the client that knows what they want but needs a little support along the way.
Forms – This package starts with a Couple Interview Form, in anticipation of our initial meeting. It allows us to be able to best service you in the most personal way. The more we know about you as people, as a couple and of your vision of the day, the better we can help you fulfill a day that is not only running seamlessly, but also reflecting your personalities and personal tastes. Together we will create this event that is uniquely you–guided by our expert advice.
Initial Meeting – A time to get acquainted, communicate your vision, and springboard the planning process. Here we can address vendor and site selection and other details to move forward with a plan of action.
Board Communication – After the initial meeting, a Trello board will be set up by Mim. This board will host and organize all information regarding the wedding. It includes To-Do list and deadlines, visual references for designs, web links, vendor contracts and will act as a comprehensive communication tool to keep us organized and on track together.
Periodic Consultation – Mim Frantz will offer expert advice, consultation and strategic planning to fulfill your event vision. This package is based on the client’s specific needs and includes vendor recommendations, site selection and review, menu, review of contracts, managing of rentals, scheduling of event day timing, design and décor, budget management and more.
Month Of Service – In addition, this package also includes the below described Month Of services

For the client who has their items in place but needs some support for a worry-free weekend
Managing Wedding Day – Services to include but not limited to anticipating and avoiding conflicts and challenges, initial set up of décor, tables, chairs for ceremony, vendor coordination, managing all stages of event including picking up lunches for bridal party, pinning on boutonnières for groomsmen, finding family members for photos, scouting locations for first looks, cuing processional of ceremony and ceremony music, bustling dress, coordinating entrances at cocktail hour, first dance, toasts, overseeing food and beverage service, guest special needs i.e. dietary concerns etc, cake cutting, transportation for guests. If event breakdown is needed and exceeds package hours, may be contracted separately.
Wedding Rehearsal presence and coordination – Event coordinator will be oversee the wedding rehearsal and greet and introduce all participants. Assistance provided in directing all of the family and wedding party through the steps of the actual wedding from the timing of walking down the aisle, where to stand when, when to hand off the bouquet, what side to walk on etc. Formats can be suggested or provided or will follow the vision suggested by the bride/groom and or officiant.
Event-Week Meeting – An in person meeting, usually earlier in the event week upon client arrival.
This organizational meeting is to review the constructed timeline and confirm that the couple’s vision of the wedding is fulfilled. We will talk through the timeline, review any items in the “to be determined” category and go over any last-minute concerns. This is a great time to discuss concerns, stresses, family or bridal party dynamics and final stages of planning process. Final numbers and selections for meals, seating charts, escort cards, placecards, décor items and install directions etc. Juniper Events will also handle any checks to be distributed to vendors on event day. Final balance for Juniper Events at this time.
Timeline Vendor calls and confirmations and construction of timeline – Based on the vendor contracts and communication with the host property, Juniper Events will be contacting all vendors and reviewing contracts. This will be the time to confirm arrival and departure times, special needs such as power for the band or DJ, playlists and schedule, photo schedule and locations, wedding processional and ceremony songs, review of rental items, rental company needs and deliveries and pick ups. The timeline will be shared and reviewed with bride/groom, host location and all vendors. This part of the planning process is critical to the success of the event.
Month-Out Meeting A phone or personal meeting between four and two weeks out from wedding – At this time, Juniper events will need to be provided with all vendor information (contracts if available) with contact numbers, email etc. After contacting each vendor with specific needs and arrival times etc, a preliminary timeline will be constructed from the meeting, working from start to end of the day. This is to be punctuated by timing for rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, photo times, wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner service, planned toasts or dances, cake cutting etc.
